eintellego Networks is a small cloud-based Network Integrator who works with Internet Service Providers, SME’s and big corporate networks.  We have customers in Australia, the US, Asia and other parts of the world.

We have a role that will be perfect for someone who loves a challenge. This role will have you working on cutting edge devices, networks and technologies.  We’re not your average ‘reboot your computer’ kind of people. We are building solutions for important customers.  If it is boring, we probably don’t work on it (much).

Some of our customers include or have included: Hoyts Cinemas, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Coke, Data Centres, Banks, Colleges and Not-for-Profits, and many Internet Service Providers.

Role: Network Engineer – Level 2
Location: Sydney (Glebe, North Sydney, CBD, as needed)
Type: Full-time

We’re looking for a Level 2 Cisco/Juniper Network Engineer that is happy to work hard and reap the rewards that come with being awesome at what you do. You will also be involved in mentoring and supporting our Level 0 and Level 1 support staff get better at what they do.

We are different from most companies in that we like to recognise raw talent. We are NOT looking for someone with a degree, but some professional certification is important to us (or willingness to get them) with CCNP and/or JNCIP being preferable. Someone with a desire to go towards CCIE/JNCIE would be great – and we will help you get there.

Some other things. You will need your drivers license and a car – non-negotiable. You will be visiting datacentres, customer, installing equipment and so on, so you need to be able to carry equipment around as needed.

  • Experience with QoS, MPLS, VPLS concepts
  • Some Experience with Port-Channels/Link Aggregation, Pseudo-wires, MetroEthernet, Datacentre routing and switching

Experience in the following:

  • Know about the Juniper and Cisco product lines – or willing to get to know them quickly
  • Problem solving skills, be accountable and take ownership for all of your work
  • Experience engaging with and talking to 3rd party vendors
  • Experience working in a team and autonomously

We also love you to have the following attributes:

  • Passion for what you do
  • Hard working
  • Ethical and Trustworthy
  • Self disciplined
  • Able to take ownership of an issue
  • Articulate and confident communicator
  • Ability to talk to clients and explain a situation
  • Common Sense approach to problem solving
  • Public speaking skills for presentations would be an advantage – but you can work up to it.

What I want to see from you: A resume with your history, details of some projects you’ve worked on detailing your involvement. I’d like you to write a quick cover page telling me about yourself and career path – it helps me to get to know you, and it lets me make sure you know how to use a spell-checker and can string a sentence together.

No recruitment companies under any circumstances.

We’re looking to fill this role quickly… interviews will be scheduled to the week starting ASAP and continuing until we fill this role.

You MUST have the following before you apply for this role:

  • Demonstrated common-sense
  • Drivers License (P’s are OK)
  • Your own car
  • Speak, read and write clear english
  • Be willing and able to travel – domestically and internationally
