eintellego Networks is a small cloud-based Network Integrator who works with Internet Service Providers, SME’s and big corporate networks.  We have customers in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and other parts of the world.

We have a role that will be perfect for someone looking to make a career in serious IT.  This role will have you working on cutting edge devices, networks and technologies.  We’re not your average ‘reboot your computer’ kind of people. We are building solutions for important customers.  If it is boring, we probably don’t work on it (much).

Role: IT Technician (Junior)
Location: Sydney (Chatswood, CBD, as needed)
Type: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable

The role will involve:

• Basic configuration of Network Equipment (mostly Cisco, Juniper, HP)
• Configuring Wireless Equipment
• Setup, configure and basic management of Linux servers (RedHat/CentOS)
• Assisting senior engineers in whatever they may need
• Management of our eiSpot Platform (Web and Linux based)
• Visiting Data Centres to install equipment, respond to emergencies, patch cables, etc
• Visiting customer sites to install networking equipment
• Build servers as required (hardware, operating systems, etc)
• Liaising with our engineers who are located overseas for any local physical requirements
• Responding to Helpdesk Tickets from Customers
• Support customers via Skype, Email and Phone
• Assist any staff with desktop related issues (Mac OSX, Windows)
• Maintain our lab assets
• Pickup/Delivery Equipment as necessary
• Research projects on making things work

Essentially, everything and anything related to IT, but with a networking focus.

Now, we’re not expecting any junior technician to know all of the above… but if you are a hard worker, have good common-sense and a knack and passion for IT, then we will help you learn the parts that you don’t know.  Training, Exams, Mentoring and career support will be available for the right person.  We are a global small business with interesting opportunities.
